Black Stars winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has urged Ghanaians to rally behind the national team as they prepare for their 2026 World Cup qualifying matches.
Ghana is set to face Chad and Madagascar in their Matchday five and six fixtures later this month. The team is eager to make a strong comeback after missing out on the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) for the first time in 20 years.
Ahead of these crucial games, the Leicester City forward highlighted the significance of fan support. “We need your support, and we are ready to fight for the nation as always, but we still need your support to get the victory, and we hope to see you all in the stadium,” he urged.
The Black Stars will take on Chad on Friday, March 21, at 19:00 GMT before heading to Morocco to play Madagascar at the Grand Stade d’Al Hoceima on Monday, March 24.
