Ghanaian central defender Abdul Jalilu has been named as the new first deputy skipper of Rwanda Premier League side Mukura Victory Sports for the 2025/26 season.
The former Dreams FC skipper joined Mukura Victory Sports in June 2024 and has shown exceptional leadership qualities making him to get the nod.
Jalilu will deputies veteran Ugandan goalkeeper Nicolas Sebwato with teenager Elie Tatou, Zuberi Hakizimana Christian Nisingizwe as the 2nd, 3rd and fourth deputy skippers respectively.
Jalilu had a great 2024/25 season scoring against APR FC as Mukura beat all the big teams.
The Huye based club boasts of four Ghanaians namely Abdul Jalilu, Samuel Pimpong, Agyenim Boateng Mensah and Joseph Sackey.
