Abdulai Gazale names Asante Kotoko starting XI to face Karela United; Justice Blay, Danlad benched

Asante Kotoko has officially announced their starting lineup for the upcoming BetPawa Premier League match against Karela United.

This crucial match holds significant importance for both teams, as Karela United aims to avoid relegation. Asante Kotoko, known for their strong home performances, will seek to secure a positive result.

In their previous game, the Reds emerged victorious with a 3-1 win over Kotoku Royals, while Karela United played out a goalless draw against Great Olympics.

Adding to their confidence, Kotoko recently secured a morale-boosting win over Sporting Time FC in a friendly match, which gives them a slight advantage heading into today’s game.

The starting lineup for Asante Kotoko includes Frederick Asare in goal, with Mohammed Alhassan, Augustine Agyapong, Yusif Mubarik, and John Tedeku forming the defensive line.

In midfield, Eric Zeze will join Richmond Lamptey and Rocky Dwamena, leaving Justice Blay and captain Richard Boadu Agadas to start from the bench.
