Access Bank DOL Preview: Kotoko battle Nations FC, New Edubiase host Deportivo, Skyy FC square off with Pacific Heroes in Zone Two

Nzema Kotoko have been the surprised package in this seasons Access Bank Division One League. The Nzema club has given Nations FC and Skyy FC a good run in this year’s competition following top quality opposition in the Zone.

They sit in third place with 49 points – 11 points adrift of leaders Nations FC and 4 points behind second placed Skyy FC who are on 53 points.

The club’s top scorer Peter Adiwoh Ernest is the second top scorer in Zone Two with 13 goals – two goals behind Baba Hamadu Musa of Skyy FC who is on 15 goals in 25 League matches.

Nzema Kotoko have won 14, lost 4 and drawn 7 of their matches in the ongoing campaign whiles Nations FC boasts of 18 wins, 1 loss and 6 defeats and sit at the top of the Zone Two table with 60 points–7 points ahead of second placed Skyy FC.

With 5 League matches to end the season, Nations FC need two more wins to qualify for next seasons Premier League.

In other matches –there is a battle between two former Premier League sides at the Robert Mensah stadium in Cape Coast where Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs host WAFA while Skyy FC play Pacific Heroes at St. Martins Park at Daboase.
