Accra Lions 1 – 1 Kotoko: Porcupines gets a point on final day

Ghana Premier League Champions Asante Kotoko SC got a point on the final day of the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League season in Accra at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors avoided defeat in their last match of the season against the debutants Accra Lions FC.

The two teams failed to find the back of the net in the opening 45 minutes of the match despite some few decent half chances.

Accra Lions were the better team in the first half of the match with greater share of possession.

Fourteen minutes into the second half, Salisu Abass broke the deadlock to give the home team a deserving.

Late in the game, Accra Lions gifted Kotoko the equalizer as Samuel Boateng got the equalizer to make it 1-1 at the end of the match.
