The technical director of Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions Football Club Ibrahim Tanko is hoping for a consistent display from the lads.
He says the team wants to play better this season than they did during the 2022-23 campaign to finish in the top half of the table.
According to him, the club is working hard to have a better season after they defeated Legon Cities FC on Monday afternoon at the WAFA Park in Sogakope.
He told StarTimes after their 1-0 win over Legon Cities on Monday, September 25 2023: “We are doing everything possible. We want to be consistent in the both half; first and second round. So, we are working on it and ensure that this season is going to be better.”
Lions are top of the league table after two games with four points and are one of the only two clubs that are undefeated this season so far after just two games.
