The head Coach of DR Congo, Sebastien Desabre has unveiled DR Congo’s squad for the upcoming tournament in Ivory Coast. The Squad released by the head has club mates of Ghanaian National team.
Daniel Amartey’s new club mate, Jakson Muleka whom he shares very close bond at Besiktas has found his way into coach Desabre provisional squad. Muleka has two goals in the Turkish Super Lig since joining the club in the summer from Kasimpa . Ghanaian defender, Nicholas Opoku’s club mate Gael Kakuta is also named in the squad for DR Congo.
In Midfielder, Brandon Thomas also has a club mate at West Bromwich Albion in the name of Grady Diangana in the Cental African country provisional squad. Inform Ghanaian attacker Joseph Paintsil and Joris Kayembe of Genk are also representing for their respective countries.
Both sides will stand to benefit from the familiarity of either sides if thy both progress from their groups and clash in the knockout stages of the competition.
