Mane, along with Liverpool teammates Roberton Firmino and Mohamed Salah, could leave the club for nothing when his contract expires at the end of next season.
That has left the Reds desperate to tie down their star strikers to new deals, but if they do not sign new contracts before this summer they could decide to cash in rather than losing them for no fee.
And reports have now suggested that Mane could see it as the perfect opportunity to fulfil a childhood dream of playing in La Liga.
