Chelsea are closing in on a deal to sign Barcelona forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, it’s been claimed.
According to Spanish journalist Gerard Romero on Twitter, there’s currently a meeting taking place between Spanish giants Barcelona and Aubameyang’s agent.
It is understood that the 33-year-old player is now edging closer to a move to Stamford Bridge.
It’s previously been claimed this week that Chelsea were close to agreeing a deal worth €22million (£18.6million) plus €5million (£4.2million) in variables for the centre-forward.
This latest update from Romero should give Chelsea supporters some extra optimism of an imminent transfer.
