South African Football Association (SAFA) presidential candidate Ria Ledwaba has lost her candidacy for court to prevent an SAFA election congress.

She appealed to the Supreme Court in Pretoria to ban the election congress, alleging various procedural irregularities.

Ledwaba, who was confirmed as one of the three presidential candidates, did not qualify for the National Executive Committee under the SAFA statutes, as the host region did not nominate her.
