Ghana international midfielder Afriyie Acquah took his professional football career to the Gulf after signing for Saudi Arabia’s Al Batin FC.
The 29-year old played for several clubs on the European continent for almost a decade and coming August 14th, he will know what competitive football is like in the Middle East.
The team of Acquah open their league season with an away fixture against Al Ettifaq on August 14th before playing at home against Abha during Day Two.
The Black Stars midfielder was part of the Al Batin team during their 12-day training camp in Egypt and he is expected to improve the side thanks to his vast European football experience.
