In a captivating clash on Saturday evening, the former Hearts of Oak forward emerged as the star of the show for FC Zurich, delivering not one but two flawless goals against the formidable opponents, Lugano, much to the delight of the spectators.
Barnieh commenced the match at the Stadion Letzigrund and remained on the pitch for 85 minutes, making his presence felt throughout.
Despite Lugano’s substantial ball possession during the encounter, FC Zurich managed to pepper their opponents’ goal with numerous shots.
Daniel Afriyie showcased his prowess in the 68th minute by slotting a right-footed shot from the center of the box into the bottom left corner, propelling Zürich into the lead.
