Acknowledging the fans’ relentless support throughout the match, Djiku takes to social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to extend gratitude, stating, “The support and encouragement of our fans, who never stopped silent for 90 minutes, brought us another victory in this perfect atmosphere. Djiku sets the tone for Fenerbahce’s triumph by opening the scoring in the 17th minute with a powerful right-footed shot from close range, following a corner kick. His goal ignites Fenerbahce’s momentum, setting the stage for a commanding performance.
Despite Adana Demirspor’s attempts to level the score through Mario Balotelli’s 25th-minute equalizer, Fenerbahce maintains control, with goals from Edin Dzeko and Dusan Tadic in the second half.
