Ghanaian international Alexander Djiku expresses appreciation to Fenerbahce supporters for their unwavering backing during their impressive 4-2 victory over Adana Demirspor in the Turkish Super Lig.

The Black Stars defender delivers a standout performance, contributing to Fenerbahce’s success on home soil at the Ülker Stadyumu Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Spor Kompleksi.

Acknowledging the fans’ relentless support throughout the match, Djiku takes to social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) to extend gratitude, stating, “The support and encouragement of our fans, who never stopped silent for 90 minutes, brought us another victory in this perfect atmosphere. Thank you number 12.”

Djiku sets the tone for Fenerbahce’s triumph by opening the scoring in the 17th minute with a powerful right-footed shot from close range, following a corner kick. His goal ignites Fenerbahce’s momentum, setting the stage for a commanding performance.

Despite Adana Demirspor’s attempts to level the score through Mario Balotelli’s 25th-minute equalizer, Fenerbahce maintains control, with goals from Edin Dzeko and Dusan Tadic in the second half.

Although Adana Demirspor manages to narrow the deficit with Yusuf Barasi’s goal in the 80th minute, Fenerbahce seals the win with Serdar Dursun’s header in the 85th minute, assisted by Sebastian Szymanski.

With 20 appearances, two goals, and one assist in the Turkish Super Lig this season, Djiku continues to make significant contributions to Fenerbahce’s pursuit of success in the league.
