Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey responds to ongoing speculations regarding his future at Arsenal, affirming his commitment to the club despite recent challenges.
Amid rumors suggesting a potential departure from the Premier League side, the 30-year-old midfielder has faced uncertainties, particularly with his playing time impacted by the arrival of Declan Rice from West Ham United.
Although linked to other clubs, including Juventus and the Saudi League last summer, Partey remained at Arsenal, choosing to continue his career with the Gunners.
Following his return from injury, Partey asserted his happiness at Arsenal during his first start for the team in their 2-0 victory over Luton Town at the Emirates Stadium. He emphasized his dedication to the club and his desire to contribute positively on the field.
“My head is always here,” Partey stated to football.london. “This is where I choose to play, I’m really happy every time I’m on the field. I know a lot of speculations have been going on, but for me, I’m really happy to be here and to continue playing for this club.”
Regarding his contract situation, Partey remained focused on performing at his best until the end of the season, emphasizing the importance of being available for selection and delivering high-level performances consistently.
”Well, I still have to the end of the season, I think. I have to do my best and try to perform at the highest level and I think the most important is to be available every time.”
As Arsenal prepares to face Brighton at the AMEX Stadium in the upcoming Premier League fixture, Partey aims to maintain his place in the team and contribute to their quest for success despite the ongoing uncertainties surrounding his future at the club.
