Ghana defender Alexander Djiku has expressed his gratitude after scoring the decisive goal that handed the Black Stars a 1-0 victory over Mali in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Monday.
In a short message, Djiku wrote, “All for the nation. Thanks God,” accompanied by Ghana’s national colors and prayer emojis.
His goal not only secured all three points for Ghana but also strengthened the team’s position at the top of their qualifying group.
The win has boosted hopes of the Black Stars booking a place at the World Cup in Mexico, Canada, and the United States.
