Hearts of Oak midfielder, Daniel Kodie, has expressed his gratitude towards management member Alhaji Akambi, acknowledging the tremendous support he received from him during his injury.
In an interview with mirikasports.com, Kodie shared, “During my surgery in South Africa, Alhaji Akambi went above and beyond to assist me. He took care of tasks like washing my clothes and other personal items. He even cooked for me in the morning before I woke up from bed.”
Kodie further expressed his appreciation for Hearts of Oak, emphasizing the club’s continuous support during his injury. “I have always received my salary on time, and I have enjoyed various bonuses, including winning bonuses,” he stated.
He expressed amazement at how the board members have treated him, and he assured fans that he would return to the team in a strong and impactful manner.
“The way I have been taken care of by the board members is truly remarkable. I am determined to come back stronger and contribute to the success of Hearts of Oak,” Kodie added.
He also praised Alhaji Akambi for his inclusive and supportive nature, stating that he treats all players like his own children without any discrimination.
