Ampem Darkoa Ladies winger Comfort Yeboah has earned a spot in the final shortlist for both the CAF Women’s Young Player of the Year and the CAF Inter-Club Player of the Year awards.
The Black Princesses player secured her place on the list following an impressive performance at the CAF Women’s Champions League earlier this month.
Yeboah will be competing with Nigerian duo Deborah Abiodun and Esther Ajakaye, along with South Africa’s Thubilihle Shamase and Nesryne El Chad for the Young Player of the Year award.
In the Inter-Club Player of the Year category, she faces tough competition from Mamelodi Sundowns duo Refilkwe Tholakele and Lebohang Ramalefe, as well as AS FAR stars Fatima Tagnout and Ghizlane Chebak.
The Ghanaian youth star showcased her skills by scoring two goals during the CAF Women’s Champions League, contributing to Ampem Darkoa’s advancement to the last four.
Additionally, her outstanding performances earned her a national team call-up, and she is set to join the Black Queens squad for the WAFCON qualifier against Namibia next week.
