Andre Ayew has lauded his brother, Jordan Ayew, for his impressive display in Crystal Palace’s dominant Premier League triumph over Leeds United on Sunday.
Jordan scored two goals in the second half, contributing to a brilliant team effort from Palace who seem to have turned a corner under the tutelage of Roy Hodgson. Hodgson returned to the club after Patrick Vieira failed to secure a win this year.
Jordan’s first goal came in the 53rd minute, putting Palace ahead for the first time in the match. The goal resulted from an outstanding cross from Michael Olise, which Jordan met with a powerful header that found the back of the net.
Olise continued to impress with two more assists, aiding Palace in extending their lead to four goals to one before Jordan added a fifth. He took advantage of a deflection to unleash an unstoppable shot into the top corner of the net.
The Black Stars skipper took to his Instagram story to commend Jordan for his fantastic performance at Elland Road.
Prior to this game, Jordan had only managed to score one goal this season, but he has now increased his tally to three and is brimming with confidence after being named man of the match. Jordan will be eager to capitalize on this performance and inspire Palace to safety
