Great Olympics have announced the return of Annor Walker as head coach ahead of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
Walker departed the Wonder Club for Samartex when the Timber Giants were promoted to Ghana’s top flight.
Walker led Samartex to a tenth-place finish in their first season in the league.
He returns to the club to replace Bismark Kobby Mensah, who departed the Accra-based side after his contract expired last month.
Walker was named Great Olympics’ head coach ahead to the start of the 2020/21 league season, and he led them to sixth place.
He improved on that position the following season, assisting the Dade Boys in finishing fifth.
Great Olympics were in relegation trouble at one point last season but ended 15th with 42 points from 34 games.
