Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has dissolved Kumasi Asante Kotoko FC board of directors which was formed on 28th May 2022 according to reports.
The patron of the club is said to be dissatisfied with the performances of the board members which has led him in taking such a swift decision after just one year.
According to various media outlets, the board is no longer in existence as new members are expected to be announced in due time ahead of the upcoming 2023-24 season in Ghana.
The management members of the club, led by Nana Yaw Amponsah on the other hand are expected to continue with their work as the CEO’s mandate comes to an end after three years inchage of the Porcupine Warriors.
Kotoko went trophiless at the end of the 2022-23 season after winning the Premier League title the previous season.
