Ghana striker Kwesi Appiah has reacted to the Black Stars 1:1 stalemate against Gabon on Friday night.

The four-time African Champions after losing their opening match against Morocco, drew one all in their second group C game.

Captain Andre Ayew put the Black Stars ahead in the 19th minute with a thunderous strike but Gabon scored late in the game through Jim Allevinah to break the Black heart.

Reacting to the game, Appiah who played at the 2015 AFCON wrote: “Another disappointing result for team Ghana. This was an important match to make a statement! Need a big performance in the final game to be in with a chance.”

The Black Stars will need to beat whipping boys Comoros massively in the final group C game and hope that Morocco beat Gabon to keep them in the tournament.
