Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo has been voted the English Premier League Player of the Week for Matchday 26 following a standout performance for Manchester City.
The Black Stars attacker delivered a Man of the Match showing as City cruised to a 3-0 victory over Fulham at the Etihad. Semenyo set the tone early, capitalising on loose defending to poke home from close range and hand the hosts the lead.
Moments later, he turned provider—slipping a smart pass to Nico O’Reilly for City’s second—before Erling Haaland sealed the win.
Semenyo claimed 39% of the public vote, edging out Virgil van Dijk, who finished with 32%. Other nominees included Lukas Nmecha, José Sá, Malick Thiaw and Jaidon Anthony.
He becomes the third City player to take the honour this season, following Haaland (Matchday 6) and Jérémy Doku (Matchday 11).
Since arriving in January, the 26-year-old has made an immediate impact. The former Bournemouth forward has now scored five goals in seven appearances, underlining a blistering start to his Manchester City career and strengthening his case as one of the league’s in-form attackers.
