Ghanaian striker, Antoine Semenyo, has made a triumphant return to AFC Bournemouth’s preseason after being sidelined for two months due to injury.
The 23-year-old suffered a serious injury during a cameo appearance against Chelsea FC in May during a Premier League match, which they lost 1-3 at the Vitality Stadium.
Since joining AFC Bournemouth in the last winter transfer window after an impressive spell with Bristol City, Semenyo has made 11 appearances and scored his debut goal in their 4-1 victory against Leeds United.
After fully recovering from his injury, he has now reunited with his teammates for preseason training in Spain.
Although he couldn’t participate in their recent 4-0 win against Scottish top-flight side Hibernian FC, he is hopeful of playing a role in their upcoming match against Israeli side Macabbi Tel-Aviv in Madeira later today.
