Ghana international Antoine Semenyo was crowned Man of the Match on Sunday afternoon following an outstanding display for AFC Bournemouth in their Premier League clash against Manchester United.
The 25-year-old striker started on the right wing in Bournemouth’s attack and consistently troubled the Red Devils’ defense with his pace and skill.
Semenyo gave Bournemouth an early advantage, opening the scoring in the 23rd minute after being beautifully set up by teammate Evanilson.
Despite his ninth goal of the season, Semenyo’s efforts were not enough to secure victory. Manchester United fought back and found an equalizer deep into stoppage time through Rasmus Højlund, forcing the game to end in a 1-1 draw.
