CAF has established a new Ambassadors programme and the first four legends to be signed up are Ghana’s all-time top scorer Asamoah Gyan, Nigeria’s dribbling magician Jay-Jay Okocha, Senegalese hitman El Hadji Diouf and the 4 times winner of the AFCON (1998,2006,2008 and 2010), Ahmed Hassan of Egypt.
More football legends, role models in communities and many popular personalities are expected to join the newly established CAF Ambassadors programme.
Criteria for selecting the four legends

Objectives of the CAF Ambassador Programme
To promote CAF and African Football, as well as playing an important role in other activities including tournaments, charity initiatives, commercial and social events and others.
Many popular and deserving personalities are expected to be announced by CAF shortly to join the CAF Ambassadors Programme.
