Asante Kotoko have not lost a Ghana Premier League match since their last defeat against city rivals King Faisal FC in December 2021.
The Porcupine Warriors are currently unbeaten in their last seven outings in the league following Sunday’s 1-0 win over Medeama.
Kotoko were kicked out of the MTN FA Cup by King Faisal and they know they have to win the league if they want to go to Africa in 2022/23 season.
The team coached by Prosper Narteh Ogum is on some hot form having beaten Aduana Stars, WAFA, Ashanti Gold, Berekum Chelsea and now the Yellow and Mauves.
Kotoko lead the league standings with 30 points after 13 matches – six point clear at the summit as second placed Aduana Stars have 24 points in 13 games.
