Karela United midfielder Umar Bashiru has joined Real Tamale United’s David Abagna as the highest scoring players of the Ghana Premier League this season.
The former WAFA and Asante Kotoko offensive midfielder netted against Hearts of Oak over the weekend for his eight goal of the season to match the tally of Abagna.
Bashiru is playing his best football after scoring in six of the last eight games of his side.
