Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Ogum has expressed his satisfaction with the club’s recent signings, highlighting their strong technical skills and potential to boost the team’s performance.
The Porcupine Warriors have been active in the transfer market, rebuilding their squad following a disappointing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, which led to the departure of 18 players.
Speaking to the club’s media, Ogum praised the new additions, emphasizing their technical prowess.
“I think they are very good players. Technically, they are very sound,” Ogum said. “They are able to exhibit the basics of the game, have advanced technical characteristics, and are comfortable on the ball. They are fast, strong, and very confident both as individual players and as a group.”
Ogum is optimistic that these new signings will bring a fresh dynamic to the team, improving their overall performance in the upcoming 2024/25 season. “I think they are going to give us a new face with respect to our performance, so I am happy we have gotten them,” he added.
Asante Kotoko is currently gearing up for the new season, with hopes of delivering better results and impressing their supporters.
