Asante Kotoko’s head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has expressed his team’s ambition to excel in the upcoming 2024/25 football season.
The coach, who recently recovered from surgery and returned to training, emphasized the importance of preparing well for the new season.
“We have to be ready to play any of these teams at any time, anywhere, we should be able to play them and get the results,” the Kotoko coach told the club’s media.
His remarks come after a disappointing 2023/24 season, where Asante Kotoko finished 6th with 49 points and missed out on winning both the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup trophies.
The team is currently undergoing pre-season training and is expected to play several friendly matches before the start of the new season.
Coach Ogum is determined to lead his team to a successful campaign, and the players are eager to change the narrative after a disappointing previous season.
