Asante Kotoko Sporting Club have been fined GHS 10,000 and issued a formal warning by the Disciplinary Committee following misconduct during their Ghana Premier League match against Medeama Sporting Club.
The decision comes after the Committee reviewed reports from the match and found Kotoko culpable of breaching league regulations. As part of the ruling, the club has been cautioned to ensure better conduct in future matches to avoid stiffer sanctions.
The punishment serves as a reminder to clubs participating in the Ghana Premier League to uphold discipline and respect the rules governing the competition as the season progresses.
