Asante Kotoko name starting XI to face Samartex; Sarfo Taylor, others start

Orlando Wellington, the assistant coach of Asante Kotoko, has revealed the starting lineup for their Premier League match against FC Samartex 1996 this afternoon.

With Seydou Zerbo unavailable, Wellington has taken charge and selected Rocky Dwamena, Andrews Appau, and Solomon Sarfo Taylor for the crucial game against the Timber Giants in Samreboi.

Asante Kotoko has traveled a long distance to the Western Region to compete against FC Samartex 1996 in the opening fixture of match-week 22 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League at the Nsenkyire Park.

Despite missing their top scorer Steven Mukwala due to international duty with Uganda, the Porcupine Warriors are determined to achieve a positive result.

Sarfo Taylor has been appointed to lead the attacking line for Asante Kotoko alongside George Mfegue Omgba.
