Enock Morrison and Rocky Dwamena scored as Asante Kotoko secured a 2-1 victory over FC Samartex 1996 in their Week 22 league match on Saturday afternoon in Samreboi.
The win marked the first away victory for the champions in 2023 and also marked the second home defeat of the season for the league debutants.

CM Richard Boadu – 7/10 : Held the ball and passed it around with finesse.
LM Richmond Lamptey – 8/10 : Man of the match performance from Lamptey. Should have won the MVP award.
RM Enock Morrison – 7/10 : Scored a great opening goal but was not much involved in the overall play of his team.
RF Georges Mfegue – 6/10 : Tried to make things happen all the time but that did not happen.
CF Solomon Sarfo Taylor – 6/10 : Not a bad game for the striker.
