According to David Obeng Nyarko, the Communications and Brands Manager for Asante Kotoko, Steven Mukwala will be fit and available to play in their upcoming match against Aduana Stars.
The two teams will face each other on Sunday in the 27th matchday of the Ghana Premier League at Baba Yara Stadium.
Mukwala suffered an injury during Kotoko’s last game against Berekum Chelsea, in which they lost 3-0. However, Nyarko confirmed that the Ugandan striker is recovering well and will be ready for the upcoming fixture.
“Mukwala will be ready for this weekend and that is for sure. He sustained an injury in our game against Berekum Chelsea but the technical team took a precaution decision to sub him off early but he is back” he said.
Despite Kotoko’s struggles in the ongoing league campaign, Mukwala has been a standout player, scoring 10 goals in the top-flight so far.
