Asante Kotoko forward Albert Amoah has emerged as a transfer target for several clubs following his outstanding performances in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.
Since joining the Porcupine Warriors from Great Olympics during the summer transfer window, the 22-year-old has been a standout player, scoring six goals to spearhead Kotoko’s push for the league title.
Amoah’s form has reportedly attracted interest from multiple foreign clubs eager to secure his services. However, Kotoko are said to be unwilling to consider any offers until the current season concludes, as they aim to maintain their squad strength in the title race.
The prolific forward signed a three-year deal with Kotoko, tying him to the club until the summer of 2027. His contributions have been vital in a challenging campaign that sees Kotoko sitting seventh on the league table with 18 points, five points behind leaders Bibiani Goldstars after 12 matches.
As the second transfer window approaches, Kotoko are also working to strengthen their squad to enhance their title bid. Amoah’s continued form will be crucial as the Porcupine Warriors seek to climb the standings in the second half of the season.
