Ghanaian giant Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC star defender, Ibrahim Imoro will undergo his medicals as Al Hilal Omdurman of Sudan today,Sportsworldghana.com understands.
The talented defender is expected to undergo his medical test today, Tuesday, August 2 with the Sudanese club before his move to the club is finalized.
The left-back is on the verge of joining the Sudanese giant Al Hilal after they reach full agreement for his signature from his current club Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC.
Imoro, 22, was one of the standout performers in the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League and helped the Porcupine Warriors to end their eight year wait for their first Premier League title.
Imoro has been one of the best players on the market domestically and is one of the most important players for the Porcupine Warriors in the past four years.
He joined Asante Kotoko SC from Karela United FC and has since been the preferred left-back for the club since 2017 rising to become one of the captains for the team.
In the just ended Ghana Premier League season, he provided nine assists and scored four goals to help the Reds win the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League title.
He recently played for the Black Galaxies in their dominant win over the Squirrels of Benin in the CHAN qualifiers preliminary round.
He is set to join the club ahead of the 2022-23 season in Sudan and also participate in the CAF Champions League with the Sudanese giant.
