Ghana’s Black Princesses have safely arrived in Costa Rica ahead of the 2022 FIFA Women’s U20 World Cup tournament this month.
Ghana qualified for the tournament through the qualifiers with ease to make another appearance at the FIFA Mundial at the U20 level.
The Ghanaians loss 4-0 at the end of their preparatory game against France ahead of next week’s tournament.
The Black Princesses will be one of 16 national teams that will compete at this year’s FIFA Women’s U20 World Cup to be staged in Costa Rica.
As part of preparations for what will be a tough tournament for the Ghana U20 women’s team, the Ghana FA has made arrangements for the team to hold a training camp in France.
Ghana will face powerhouse United States of America on Thursday August 11 in their first match of the tournament.
Ghana will face Japan in the next group game on Sunday with the game kicking off at 5pm same time as the first match against the Americans.
They will end their group stages games when they come up against The Netherlands on Wednesday August 17th at 11pm.
The Princesses qualified for the World Cup on a 5:1 aggregate scoreline to make it their sixth consecutive appearance at the global stage.
