Asante Kotoko supporters chief, Alex Manu, has expressed his desire for the team to continue playing at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium rather than returning to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

Speaking on Akoma 87.9 FM, Manu highlighted the advantages of staying in Obuasi for the time being.

“I shall beg the IMC to let us stay at Obuasi for the time being, given the significant expenditure made in getting the pitch in decent condition,” he said, pointing to the efforts and costs involved in maintaining the high-quality pitch at the Obuasi stadium.

Manu further praised the Obuasi pitch, calling it the best in the country. “The Obuasi pitch is by far the best in the country,” he added, emphasizing the excellent playing conditions that benefit the team.

His comments reflect the belief that staying in Obuasi, at least for now, would be beneficial for Asante Kotoko, especially given the high standard of the playing surface at the Len Clay Stadium.
