Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has announced a restructured sporting hierarchy aimed at bolstering its technical and operational framework, signaling a renewed commitment to excellence both on and off the pitch.
The revamped structure places former player and coach Kwesi Appiah in the pivotal role of Head of Sporting Affairs. With decades of experience in football management, Appiah will spearhead the club’s technical and sporting vision, ensuring strategic direction and leadership.
Adding to the reshaped setup, club legend Malik Jabir has been appointed as Technical Director. Jabir’s role will focus on providing strategic technical guidance while driving the development of Kotoko’s footballing philosophy across all levels.
Meanwhile, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum retains his position as Head Coach, tasked with leading the senior team to success on the field. Under his leadership, Kotoko aims to achieve superior performances while nurturing emerging talents. The support system includes scouts, video analysts, and youth coaches, emphasizing a holistic approach to player development and performance analysis.
