Ashantigold S.C recorded a big win during Week 30 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday as the Miners hit Elmina Sharks by 3-1 in Elmina.
The Miners saw their Week 29 game against Asante Kotoko called off in the mid-week.
This was after the club were slapped with a demotion to the third tier by the Ghana Football Association Disciplinary Committee (GFA DC) for their match-fixing offences in a 2020/21 league game against Inter Allies.
Derrick Afriyie, Ali Mohammed and Yaw Annor scored the goals for AshantiGold.
The club has since appealed against the decision of the GFA DC.
