‘At his age, its important to keep playing’ – Patrick Vieira speaks about Rak-Sakyi

English Premier League side Crystal Palace FC head coach Patrick Vieira believes it will just right to allow Jesurun Rak-Sakyi to continue playing at Charlton Athletic FC.

The Palace boss wants him to continue to continue with his development at the English League One side Charlton Athletic after hitting top gear.

Speaking to London News Online, Patrick Vieira expressed delight about the performance of the young Ghanaian striker but says he is yet to make a decision on the future of the player heading into the second half of the season.

He said: “There is a reflection about the decision to make. Of course, he is doing really well. It’s important for him to keep playing. At this age, to keep progressing, you need to play every week.

“To call him back, and to play one game in every six or seven, will not be the right decision. The discussion has to be: ‘What can be the next challenge for him?’

“But, at the moment, he is in a really good place with good support around him. He is enjoying his football – that is really good for him.”
