Heart of Lions head coach Bashir Hayford expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance after securing a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Dreams FC in their Week 3 Ghana Premier League clash.
The match, held on Monday afternoon, showcased a thrilling encounter between the Kpando-based side and their opponents, resulting in both teams earning a point.
In his post-match interview, Coach Hayford commended his players for their efforts, emphasizing that a draw in an away game is a positive outcome. “Away games, if you get a draw, it’s perfect. We went to Aduana and got a draw, and today we have another draw. Away matches come with a lot of dynamics, so to leave here with a point is good for us. We will now prepare for the next game,” he stated during an interview with Heart of Lions TV.
With this draw, Heart of Lions remain unbeaten after three matches in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League, boasting a record of one win and two draws.
Currently sitting in the top four of the league standings with five points, Coach Hayford is rallying his players to focus on their upcoming challenge against Bibiani Gold Stars.
