Azerbaijan Premier League side FK Sumqayit have completed the signing of Ghanaian forward Karim Aboubakar, the club has announced officially.
The former Medeama SC striker has joined the club as a free agent after leaving Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv in Israel this winter transfer window.
Karim Aboubakar played 16 games this season for Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv in the second tier of the Israeli league and got two goals and one assist in Cup competition yo his name.
The 27-year-old Ghanaian forward has signed an initial six months contract with the Azerbaijan Premier League side with option to extend the contract for two years should he impress the team.
