Simba SC in Tanzania have contacted former Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah to become the technical director of the club, Sportsworldghana.com understands.
According to Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, the Tanzanian Premier League giant have already contacted the former Ghana coach to become the club’s technical brain.
Kwesi Appiah became the first Ghanaian coach to take the Black Stars team to a FIFA World Cup tournament when he qualified the team for the 2014 tournament in Brazil.
He was the head coach for the senior national team when they exited the CAF Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Egypt at the round of 16 stages of the competition against Tunisia.
He has been out of work for a while after leaving his position as the Black Stars head coach but recently applied for the vacant Black Stars coaching job.
Simba SC, according to Oyerepa FM are desperate to land the Ghana coach as their technical director as soon as possible with his experience to take the club to the very top of Africa club competitions.
