Ghana senior national team players Aziz Issah and David Oduro have arrived in Mexico to link up with the Black Stars camp as preparations intensify ahead of their upcoming international friendly against the host nation.
Both players have joined the squad in North America as the technical team continues final preparations for the high-profile fixture, which is expected to serve as a key test in Ghana’s build-up to major international competitions.

Their inclusion in the travelling group adds further competition to the squad, with the coaching staff keen on assessing a wide pool of talent before settling on the final roster. The friendly against Mexico is seen as an important opportunity for players on the fringes of the team to prove their readiness at international level.
However, it remains uncertain whether either Issah or Oduro will do enough in training and during the match to secure a place in Ghana’s final World Cup squad. The official squad announcement is expected to follow shortly after the friendly, making the next few days crucial for players still fighting for selection.
The technical team is expected to closely monitor performances, fitness levels and tactical discipline as they make final decisions ahead of the tournament.
