Abdul Baba Rahman and Gideon Mensah have bot been ruled out of Ghana’s upcoming game Liberia.
The Black Stars on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, will host Liberia in an international friendly game at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Both Rahman Rahman and Gideon Mensah featured in the AFCON qualifier against Central Africa Republic in Kumasi on Thursday, September 7, 2023, but won’t play in Accra.
The duo have been ruled out due to various degrees of injuries they sustained in the game against Central Africa Republic.
In their absence, Black Stars coach Chris Hughton has invited Medeama SC defender, Fatawu Hamidu for the Liberia game.
Fatawu now joins Jonathan Sowah as the only local players in the Black Stars camp.
