Clermont Football defender Alidu Seidu has encouraged Otto Addo to believe in the Black Stars squad he will name for the 2022 World Cup although he will be criticised.
Speculations in the media on Tuesday meant there is unrest in the country as fans await Addo’s final 26-man list for the Mundial.
But Seidu has charged his head coach to be confident and choose the best players available to represent the country.
“All that I can say to Otto Addo is for him to get confidence in the players that he will call,” he told Joy Sports.
“For sure Ghanaians will talk [about the squad] but get confidence.”
Seidu made his Black Stars debut in June this year and he is in line to make the final squad for the World Cup to be staged in Qatar in 11 days’ time.
