Black Stars defender Alidu Seidu has revealed not being selected for the 2022 FIFA World Cup would not mean he should not support Ghana at the tournament.
Having been named in the provisional 55-man squad for the competition, the high-flying Clermont man is among players hoping to make it to Qatar as Otto Addo’s nears an announcement.
While some players’ faith has already been determined through reports on Tuesday, Seidu is yet to receive any news.
According to him, he will still be behind the team should he miss out on the final squad.
“The players that he [Otto Addo] is going to call even if I’m part or not, I will always try and support Ghana,” he told JoySports via Star Connect.
“I know the players who will be going to the World Cup will give their best.”
The Black Stars are expected to begin camping on November 14 ahead of the World Cup.
