Emmanuel Gyasi Atuahene, the Public Relations Officer for Bechem United Football Club, has declared in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports that the team is determined to win the betPAWA Ghana Premier League title and prove critics wrong.
Bechem United is set to face Medeama SC, who currently ranks third in the league, on Sunday, May 7, and Atuahene stated that this match will serve as an opportunity to demonstrate the team’s potential.
He further added that Bechem United’s constant exclusion from the list of top contenders motivates them to win it all this season.
“It is high time we used this match to the whole wide world that indeed we are in for the silverware this season…we believe that this is the point in time that we need to prove the critics wrong that we are not just in for competition but we are in for the title,” he said.
The team is currently three points behind league leader Aduana Stars with 48 points, while Medeama has 47 points with five games remaining in the league.
