Kingsley Osei Bonsu, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bechem United, has expressed their determination to clinch the title in the upcoming 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

Despite coming close to winning the Premier League title last season, Bechem United narrowly missed out on the ultimate prize, losing to Medeama SC. However, they have bolstered their squad in preparation for the new season.

Known in football circles as Lord Zico, Kingsley Osei Bonsu is confident that his team has what it takes to secure the league title in the upcoming season.

He stated, “When you come third two consecutive times, you now aim for the first position. And as I always say, either the first or with the first. The way I see things this season, there is a likelihood we will come first,” he said.

He continued, “You’ve seen it for yourself. The team is very strong. It’s a very good side. The attackers are very strong and they run. And with the inclusion of Okrah, things will work out,” he added.

Bechem United will kick off their 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign with an away match against Nsoatreman FC on Sunday, September 17, 2023. The new football season is set to begin this weekend at various stadiums across the country.
