Berekum Chelsea attacker, Stephen Amankona, has made a remarkable impression in the just-concluded Ghana Premier League season, emerging as the top scorer with an impressive 19 goals in 29 appearances.
The highly-rated forward’s goal tally is the highest of any player featured for any of the 18 participating clubs, leaving his closest rivals in the dust.

This season, Amankona’s impressive form saw him score five more goals than the two players trailing him until the campaign’s end.
His outstanding performance has cemented his status as one of the most feared strikers in the league.
Meanwhile, Great Olympics, Bofoakwa Tano, and Real Tamale United have been relegated from the Ghana Premier League, while Samartex FC lifted the league title on Sunday, June 16, after a thrilling finale against Accra Lions.
